A Greek
Journey of Self Discovery
From the time of Homer’s “Odyssey” to the present day, all of us,
as humans, have been continually fascinated by the idea of a “journey.”
We never tire of traveling long or short distances in search of
learning, imagining, and dreaming.
Whether our individual journeys take us into the depths of the
world within or to the vastness of the world without, our seeking
always brings us closer to ourselves, where — like Odysseus — we
can finally feel at home.
In this presentation, Dr. Lena Hatzichronoglou, using imagery from
the Greek Myth and Landscape, will guide us through such a journey.
At its conclusion, we will all feel that we have experienced something
extraordinary, and we will emerge richer, wiser, and in awe of the
sacredness of what we will have witnessed.
